A weekend or public holiday
Where the 14 days end on a weekend or a public holiday, the notification period ends on the next working day. With a state or territory set, this checker moves the date past weekends, national public holidays and that state's whole-day public holidays as its government lists them for the years held; with no state set it uses national holidays only and says so, because a state public holiday may move the date one more day.
The rule. Report a change in shares within 14 days. Named in the sources: a buy, a sale, bonus shares. Any other change to the total number of shares the form asks for: report or confirm. A price movement is not on the list; listed shares are revalued on 20 March and 20 September. Every rule and its source.

The exceptions it lists include a 28-day period for certain recipients living overseas and for bereavement events, and 7 days after becoming aware of a compensation payment; a recipient who leaves Australia permanently or for at least 12 months moves from 14 to 28 days.
