Other notification periods
The general notification period is 14 days, and this checker counts 14. The Guide lists other periods for some recipients: 28 days for certain recipients living overseas and for bereavement events, 7 days after becoming aware of a compensation payment, and a recipient who leaves Australia permanently or for at least 12 months moves to 28 days. If a different period applies, confirm with Services Australia.
The rule. Report a change in shares within 14 days. Named in the sources: a buy, a sale, bonus shares. Any other change to the total number of shares the form asks for: report or confirm. A price movement is not on the list; listed shares are revalued on 20 March and 20 September. Every rule and its source.
